I offer physiotherapy treatment for musculoskeletal conditions, mobility and respiratory support for both adults and children.
Following a full assessment, we will agree a plan of treatment, which may involve:
Depending on your needs, I am able to visit you at home, or treat you in my local therapy space. I am also able to offer online assessments, exercise and advice via Zoom. We may be able to make a trip to a local pool to practise hydrotherapy too!

I provide yoga, mindfulness and meditation for children and young people with special needs and their families.
All sessions are bespoke to the needs of the child. For some I can carry out chair yoga for those less mobile or older clients. This uses the same principles as usual but involves sessions either seated or using a chair to assist balance.
All physiotherapy and yoga sessions require an assessment in order to ensure you receive the right therapy for your needs and that it is safe to do so. If necessary, a doctors referral may be requested.

I am a trained breathwork teacher using my respiratory experience from my physiotherapy career and further training in Breath, Body, Mind breathwork techniques, pioneered by Dr Brown and Dr Gerbarg from the USA.
Breathwork can be especially useful for chronic pain conditions, such as arthritis, fibromyalgia and chronic back pain. It helps to balance our nervous system so our body can reduce the effects of stress and the negative effects that has on our muscles, joints, nerves and immune system.
By helping to rest our nervous system, regular breathwork practice can help to reduce anxiety, depression and improve our ability to manage stress in a safer way.
Breathwork has been found to be an effective tool in managing fatigue and/or many of the symptoms of long covid, through the effects of balancing our autonomic nervous system
If you would like more information about breathwork or how it may support you, please get in touch. I can teach you in a group or individually, in my therapy space or at your home. Once you have a program in place, you can practice regularly, even just a few minutes a day consistently will produce worthwhile results for most people, and these techniques are very safe and suitable for almost all people, of any age or activity level.
